On the ninth month of #knitmas Cygnet Yarns gave to me: super Christmas jumpers

If you're like me and you plan to start wearing your Christmas jumpers in early November, it's time you got knitting! We don't have a huge collection of Christmas jumper patterns at the moment (although I promise, I'm working on it!) so here are a couple of beauties, along with some of my faves from t'interweb.

chunky gems sweater

This brand spanking new pattern has just been added to our website and we love it! It's a flattering shape with a decent amount of ease and the super simple pattern makes it a more subtle Christmas sweater compared to the usual bonkers designs!

norman the snowman sweater

This fella's 3D scarf and carrot nose make this kids' Christmas sweater super appealing. Download for free from our website now.

pedro the polar bear

Featured in this month's Simply Knitting, our Pedro the Polar Bear sweater has so far been a 'Roaring' (*sorry) success. Visit the Simply Knitting website for more info or get your copy in stores.

ICELANDIC SWEATER

We just adore this pattern by Védís Jónsdóttir for Lopi Design and we think it looks perfect in our Grousemoor Aran and Boho for the Fair Isle section. You can get the free pattern on Ravelry.

favourite christmas jumper

This vintage treat by Susan Crawford is by far my favourite Christmas jumper pattern of all time. The shape, the design, everything is just stunning (and I should probably mention it's perfect when made using our Truly Wool Rich 4 ply in Cream and Geranium)! The pattern is available directly from Susan's website here.

Don't forget to share your makes on our Facebook Group page - share the love on all social media using #12monthsofknitmas :D
