On the twelfth month of #knitmas Cygnet Yarns gave to me: last minute gifts for the family

It's here! It's finally here. So #knitmas may have seemed a bit of a daft idea back in January, but hopefully it spurred some of you on to make an early start on your Christmas gifts. If that was you, you'll be laughing now. However, if like me, you decided to wait, you're probably now trawling the internet looking for quick knits for your Auntie Sue.

So here's our roundup of our quickest knits to make sure you're not sat up until the early hours of Christmas Eve!

Our fabulously soft 25% wool Grousemoor Chunky knits up to create this beautiful colour block cowl in no time!

This awesome little bag is just one of many of our Seriously Chunky bag patterns. The bags themselves are so quick to make and you can easily find the handles on Amazon or larger haberdasheries.

This pattern will crochet up in a flash and you can easily convince a loved one that you've put weeks of effort into it as it will look so beautiful!

If somebody has made an early entrance, these hats, made using our anti-bacterial and anti-pilling Super Safe and Soft baby DK are the perfect quick knit. Alternatively, if you've been super organised and finished your Christmas knitting, why not make a few of these for your local special care baby unit?

Despite its size, this is a super quick make (it took me 6 hours!). Using Seriously Chunky Prints, these crocheted mermaid tail blankets are a perfect gift.

The pompoms on this hat took longer to make than the hat itself! Literally the quickest gift you can make!

So there you have it. A year full of knitting in readiness for Christmas.

Now I suppose I'd better get a wriggle on!

Don't forget to share your makes on our Facebook Group page - share the love on all social media using #12monthsofknitmas :D

Also, watch this space as in the new year we will be launching a new designer challenge, with freebies up for grabs!
